Welcome to Doggy FarmstayEstablished in 2004, Doggy Farmstay is a boutique family-run boarding facility, situated just 45mins from the CBD. We treat all our guests as we would our own, with the love and attention they would receive at home, whether they are here as a farmstay guest or as an inside and sofa-surfing “pampered pooch”. Love and tummy tickles are not additional extras; they come as natural parts of your pet’s time here at Doggy Farmstay. As this is our home, there is always someone here to keep a constant eye on, and ear to, your pooch. We don’t have kennels so, for your dog to be allowed to stay, they must be sociable, come when called, and not prone to running off. We are a free-range facility and, as such, NOT ALL BREEDS ARE SUITABLE. That’s why we need to meet and greet each of our guests before we can accept any booking. We offer a range of services, such as daycare, weight loss, indoor-only care, and grooming. Although we specialize in large dog breeds, we also have many smaller guests who love to race around the farm. Outdoor activities are strategically grouped; we do not mix large and small, for obvious reasons. We welcome long-term guests and have had guests who have stayed as long as two years! We are a boutique free-range service, NOT a kennel; therefore, our guest number capacity is limited. During peak times, we book up very quickly.

Overnight accommodation We offer overnight cage-free accommodation. During the day they have a free run of the farm.
Daycare We offer daycare Monday to Friday for guests, once they’ve completed their mandatory ‘meet and greet’.
Pampered poochesNot all dogs like to run around on the Farm, so we have a special service for the little ones who prefer to stay indoors with the family, and ‘supervise’ from the comfort of the lounge or windowsill.

  • If you can't drop off or collect your best friend at DFS, we can arrange transport.
Bathing & Grooming Their stay at the Farm is filled with rolling, playing, and often swimming; and, therefore, they can develop a certain odour. We can arrange bathing and grooming before they go home.
